We are a wellness platform. We provide a digital platform with coaching and team challenges to help our members achieve their wellness goals. When you use these services, you’ll share some information with us. So we want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the controls we give you to access, update, and delete your information. That’s why we’ve written this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. So, please make sure that you have read and understand our Terms of Service (Terms and Condition - Wellness Coach).

All individuals whose responsibilities include the processing of any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Personal Information”) on behalf of meditation.live are expected to protect that data by adherence to this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

There are two basic categories of information we collect:

• Information you choose to give us.
• Information we get when you use our services.

Here’s a little more detail on each of these categories.

Information You Choose to Give Us

When you interact with our services, we collect the information that you choose to share with us. For example, most of our services require you to set up an account or log into our services using 3rd party accounts such as Google and Facebook, so we need to collect a few important details about you, such as: a unique username you’d like to go by, a password, an email address, gender, city of user and age. To make it easier for others to find you, we may also ask you to provide us with some additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as profile pictures, a name, your current or other useful identifying information.

Health data Collection and Use: It's your choice to share your health data with us. You can choose what data you want to share with us. We collect this data from sources like Apple Health and Google Health and/or any wearables that may be connected to these sources or connected independently. This data is used to help our members understand their wellness patterns, and offer tailored recommendations. This data can include metrics related to sleep, walking, physical workouts, and other wellness indicators. We also use this information for team challenges as e.g. for walking challenges, we would sync step count from your device to our platform and update the leaderboards.

Health Data Consent: By connecting your Apple Health or Google Health or any account with health information with our platform, you provide explicit consent for us to access and use your health data as described in this privacy policy. You can revoke this consent at any time by disconnecting your health accounts or contacting our support team.

During live classes or (other future live offerings), you can choose to have your camera and microphone on. This allows you to interact with our Coaches and other students. We believe it's better to learn together. All these live sessions are recorded and may be used for promotions or future on-demand teachings, compliance with legal obligations or to enforce our code of conduct. If you don't want to be part of video and audio recording, simply keep your video turned off and audio muted.

It probably goes without saying: When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer.

Information We Get When You Use Our Services

When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you’ve used and how you’ve used them. We might know, for instance, that you watched a particular on demand video, joined a live class or two. Here’s a fuller explanation of the types of information we collect when you use our services:

• Usage Information. We collect information about your activity through our services. For example, we may collect information about how you interact with our services, how often you use our services, what's the best time of meditation for you and so on.
• Content Information. We collect profile picture, name, email, city, gender, age and audio or video recordings that are created by joining live sessions.
• Device Information. We collect information from and about the devices you use. For example, we collect:
• information about your hardware and software, such as the hardware model, operating system version, language, battery level, and time zone;
• information from microphones, and whether you have headphones connected; and
• information about your wireless and mobile network connections, service provider, and signal strength.
• Camera and Photos. You may use the camera for interacting with Coaches and students in the class and photos to update your profile picture.
• Location Information. We ask for location to share where you are joining from to the class. It's always exciting to see fellow users from all parts of the world.
• Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, web storage, and unique advertising identifiers, to collect information about your activity, browser, and device. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually remove or reject browser cookies through the settings on your browser or device. Keep in mind, though, that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our services such as keeping you logged in, having the correct time zone for class schedule and reminder notifications.
• Health Information: No Individual Data Sharing with Employers: We prioritize your privacy. When sharing aggregated wellness metrics with employers or other third-party organizations, we provide data in an anonymized and aggregated format. This ensures that individual health data points cannot be traced back to a specific member. Your personal health metrics are for your eyes and our platform's analysis only, not for your employer or any third-party to view on an individualized basis.
• Log Information. We also collect log information when you use our website. That information includes, among other things:
• details about how you’ve used our services.
• device information, such as your web browser type and language.

• Information about you, such as your username, name, and profile picture.
• Information about how you have interacted with our services, such as how often you use the platform, the names of users you are connected with, and other information that will help users understand your connections with others using our services.
• Any additional information you have directed us to share.
• Content you post or live sessions you are part of.

With all users, our business partners, and the general public.

We may share the following information with all users as well as with our business partners and the general public:

• Public information like your name, username or profile pictures.

With third parties.

We may share your information with the following third parties:

• With service providers. We may share information about you with service providers who perform services on our behalf.
• With business partners. We may share information about you with business partners that provide services and functionality.
• With third parties for legal reasons. We may share information about you if we reasonably believe that disclosing the information is needed to:
• Comply with any valid legal process, governmental request, or applicable law, rule, or regulation.
• Investigate, remedy, or enforce potential Terms of Service violations.

For our enterprise clients, we offer Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities to streamline the login process and enhance security. When you or your employees use SSO to access our services, we collect and manage the following information:

- SSO Authentication Data: We collect information required to authenticate your identity through your enterprise SSO provider. This may include your username, email address, and an authentication token. We do not receive or store your SSO password.

- Enterprise Responsibility: The enterprise is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of SSO login credentials. Users should contact their enterprise IT department for any SSO-related issues or concerns.

- Compliance and Cooperation: We adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy and protection in our handling of SSO data. We will cooperate with enterprises to ensure compliance with their internal policies and legal obligations.

Our services may also contain third-party links and search results, include third-party integrations, or offer a co-branded or third-party-branded service. Through these links, third-party integrations, and co-branded or third-party-branded services, you may be providing information (including personal information) directly to the third party, us, or both.
